Job Duties:
• Must display a courteous and professional attitude.
• Operates equipment in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
• Performs efficient safe operation of bulldozers, graders, excavators, backhoes, front end loaders, wheel loaders, off-road dump trucks, and other equipment.
• Operates various types of equipment for general site preparation, facility maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, and/or related assignments.
• Safely moves dirt, rocks, snow or other materials in a manner that does not endanger personnel or equipment.
• Conducts daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections on equipment and completes all necessary daily forms.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment, (i.e. lubricating, fueling, and cleaning equipment.)
• Cleans waste from equipment body, compartments, and wheels/tracks throughout the day.
• Understands gauges on the dash and continuously monitors the equipment to ensure proper operation and minimal downtime.
• Proficiently completes all operating and labor tasks assigned.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task as needed.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisor with other duties as required.
• Be regularly involved in training and developing your skills and knowledge.
• Follow safety procedures as directed by safety guidelines and management staff.
